Ghost Lace

The Ghost Lace Collection uses fragments of antique lace, which are embossed into silver, leaving behind a memory of them.

There are very few records of the women and young girls who made lace in Ireland and England; these pieces preserve a record not only of them and their work, but also the women who have worn the lace over the years. Each piece of jewellery is unique as every piece of lace can only be used once.

The surface has a satin texture, which is oxidised to enhance the contrast of the lace pattern. All the backs are highly polished.
